These terms are the rules for using whyso. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use whyso.

The service

whyso is a free website of small everyday tools, run independently. Tools may be added, changed or removed over time.

Who can use whyso

You must be 16 or older. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and Google account safe, because they are how you sign in.

Fair use

Please do not:

• try to break into whyso, other people's accounts, or the systems behind it;
• overload the service, for example with automated requests;
• use whyso to store or share anything illegal, or anything that harms other people;
• pretend to be someone else.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

What you save in whyso stays yours. You allow whyso to store it and show it back to you, only to run the service. You can delete it at any time by deleting your account.

No guarantees

whyso is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Please keep your own copy of anything important.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, whyso is not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by the service being unavailable or by data being lost. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. We may close whyso, or an account that breaks these terms. If we close whyso, we will try to give notice first.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using whyso after a change, the new terms apply.
